Skagenby Tommy_MacComment by Yo_Spiff: This is one of those shots that should get a very high score bases on technical expertise, which is what is required for product photography like this. Very well done. As far as personal appeal, I love the colors and everything is spot on, but hey, it's a photo of a watch and you've given this as much wow factor as you possibly can. A 6 only because the subject doesn't do anything for me. (BTW, that's not a criticism. I've done product photography of copiers, which is something with less mass appeal than almost anything else!) |

Skagenby Tommy_MacComment by posthumous: I see no interesting negative space or shapes of negative space. be careful with reflections. symmetry can be boring. it's a good instinct to spill some water on the reflective surface. take that instinct further. |

Skagenby Tommy_MacComment by lkn4truth: Love the colors in this one and it definitely made it into my top 10 favorites of the competition. I'm just not sure if the horizontal plane is going to hurt you and I'm not convinced the negative space contributes to the wow. Still, I love the cool blue color and it remains in my favorites of the bunch. Good luck! |

Hot Chocolate by Tommy_MacComment by Dennisheckman: Some of us DPCer's go to unknown extremes to get the right shot. You are part of that club Tom! Congratulations on a very well done image. That flame is just right. |
