Seems to lack a general sharpness , this would improve vastly if you added some USM in post processing, either that or it´s out of focus. Also I would have liked you to crop the brown speck in the top away since it´s drawing way too much attention

The foregroud is ever so slightly out of focus. I's hard to tell if there's any texture at all in the picture.

This pic fails to reveal anything interesting about the texture of these objects (although the choice of subject matter is not bad). 1) The picture is overall soft and is misssing a point to which to viewers attention should be directed. 2) It is overexposed with too many blown highlights. 3) Changing the lighting could have imporved this pic greatly.
