The Long Road Aheadby zifengwComment by Sachlichkeit: It works better to catch your subject mid-stride, because then it gives him a sense of motion--right now, it looks like he's standing still. Also, the highlights on the road are completly washed out and very distracting. Go for a lower EV (faster shutter or smaller apeture). Likewise, a contrast filter would help tone down the highlights while keeping the shadows from being too dark. If 'the long road ahead' is the subject, and the viewer cant see the road, then the image is ineffective. |
