The Priceby pncowleyComment by faidoi: The lighting of the monument is really spooky. It make the piece very dramatic and moody. It really gives you a sense of the texture (what its made out of)of monument itself. Feels really smooth.
The darkened background really helps to push the monument forward and pop out of the picture. |

Blendingby pncowleyComment by quadangle: Terrific subject. The angle is not very good, though. It would look much better if the camera was in front of the mantis or to the side, rather than "looming over" the mantis. That plant is good for the praying mantis to hide in, but not very good for a photograph. |
