Brentby pncowleyComment by dsidwell: Too bad you didn't get him waving! I like the lines in this shot and how they lead my eye to bhe upper left and then back again. I also really like the contrast between Brent and his bike and the groovy cars in the background. 9 |

Brentby pncowleyComment by hortopth: He certainly makes me wonder. The cars kind of answer the question though |

Above the Bayby pncowleyComment by dsidwell: Hey, what bay is this? It looks familiar.... Well, the pseudo sillouettes really make this image pop for me, and I love the hazy bay and sky, so there is wonderful contrast between the foreground grass and trees and the background subject. Nice job. |

Country Brideby pncowleyComment by OneSweetSin: *Critique Club*
Very nicely done portrait. I read your comments and one thing you might want to try with PSP8 is an unsharpening mask it might bring the eyes out a little more. That being said the photo is truly very good there really isn't a lot to change with it. You might want to try cropping just below the sleeve, and also I hope you got a photo with that background of the entire gown. It is so simple and yet very elegant looking.
Your focus is good as is the dof used, and it definately meets the challenge. Your sister-in-law should love this wedding day portrait.

Country Brideby pncowleyComment by Olyuzi: I think a more effective shot would have been to crop out the bottom of the image right below the lower left sleeve. The background subjects of the mountain and sky are very strong elements and I wish they were blurred more so as not to compete with the bride. |
