Sorry, I love your image, but I don't think that using colour (even mostly desaturated) falls within the challenge specs.

Ian, congratulations on a new 'top row' photo - I had actually hoped, and expected to see this finish higher still! Of all the photos of Lauren that I have seen here on DPC, this is by far and away my favourite - a photograph that you should be very proud of. Looking forward to seeing more of your work as you further develop your skills - I suspect that it won't be all that long before you have a whole trail of ribbons!

Well lit... nice and sharp. Good contrast. I wish there were a bit more catch light in the girl's eyes to lighten them a bit, but this is a keeper, for sure.
