Another cool shot....there are some really amazing ballooning shots on this site. You should check some of them out....a few have won a number of ribbons. I wish I could remember the names of the photographers, but I can't. Just look back threw the old challenges within the last year and you will see a few of them.

As you could see from my work, I also love trying to capture reflections off wet sand and thin layers of water. I really like the capture here and the symetry. Have you tried to add some more contrast and saturation to this image? Also, have you tried a B&W version?

Nice tranquil scene...I'm not sure I like the dodging or filter that darkens the turn corners. Maybe a little less pronouced or not at all. I love the lines of the dock and reflection in the water.

Very cute setup! Love the reflection... as others pointed out, a boost in the fruit brightness would be helpful here. I didn't get it at first with the title, but as soon as you 'see it'... you can't miss it.

Neds Point Lighthouse

this is a moody shot with a lot of potential, much of it unrealized. The composition is an issue, because it is very static, with the lighthouse too centered for the powerful, turbulent context of the image. It's also very fuzzy-looking. There doesn't seem to be much you can do about that, but you CAN reframe the image if you like to give more dynamic power to the composition, something like this... I have also added in some USM and adjusted the levels for more pop.

Nice clean background and good refections, i would have scored it higher if the fruits were a little brighter to make the colours stand out more against the background
