One problem with onboard flashes is that, because they are so close to the lens, they tend to create shadowless images which look rather "flat". This isn't a bad shot but really does look flat. I'd love to see you try it again but side lighted a little. The nice thing about most digitals is that you can set the white balance which allows you to use almost any light you want.

I agree, I prefer my popcorn naked or with a touch of butter, this food coloring stuff is just gross. As for the image its a little soft on the focus and that will most likely hurt you in the voting...

I'm not a shallow DOF fan, so I would have liked to see all the popcorn in focus. Maybe it is just me, but the picture does not have enough visual depth to carry off the OOF background. Love the color in your shot.
