thanks for the comments and fav's.....I went to the basement, found everything there except the apples, they were grown on my property, though. :D I used an old crate, an old window, cigar box and jug. Happened to catch a shadow on the right edge of the window, to try to make it look realistic, bounced light from left.

Oh and to the unchecked comment giver, I was not trying to make it look like anything from a mag..! I made this look as it did on my own, and I got it exactly how I pictured it. :)~

Great job. This looks like a French impressionist painting. My only minor critique is the somewhat awkward intersection of the top of the jug and window frame.
