It's too soft a focus. It makes it kind of difficult to look at- like if I could just focus my eyes I'm sure there would be a nice flower shot underneath, but it just doesn't work as an abstract.

Technically you've got a decent shot but it's not art in it self and that leaves me with the feeling that I don't get it. Somethings missing.

I'm having trouble finding anything in this photo that's in focus. I'd suggest a smaller aperture (larger DOF), but the (trees?) in the background might become too distracting. This is a really tough shot to make look good. Perhaps just focusing a little more on one thing would help. Also, this image was compressed too much. It's less than 50K, the limit is 150K. That might be part of the reason it looks out of focus.

I like the whimsy you have captured in this image. It is nicely photographed as well, with sharp detail where it needs to be and nonessential detail blurred out.

The colors work well with the dark background. Lots of JPEG artifacts kinda destroys the presentation. Keep trying.
