Agreed! Excellent Photo! Posters with this type of photo (that were prevalent back in the 1970's when I was a teen) were strong influences for me in choosing to pursue skill in photography.

I think those photographers added some variety of green filter to their creations to enhance the foliage and moss in pictures, like this, but I can see a place for the stronger warmth...as in the lower left-hand corner.

Lots to like in this shot.
A simple but effective pose
A great complimentary serene background
The model is nicely engaged with the camera

It could do with a little more contrast I think but that's subjective.

I think the only reason it didn't do better is because even though its well done it wasn't a whole lot different than a lot of entries. The top entries generally had something just a little extra.

Overall though its a great entry.

seema quite flat, almost like i'm seeing it through a pain of glass. Some slight levels/curves adjustments to bring the whites out would make a big difference to this shot

I really like your photo. The red jacket, blue jeans and green foliage all provide a good contrast and don't fight one another. I also like the lighting and her expression. I hope this does well in the challenge for you.
