Wow those eyes! I wonder if you could intensify the yellow channel to bring out the color a little more (but only because this is the color challenge). The focus seems to be sharpest on the nose and not so much on the eyes. I have found that the animal pictures that I like the best have the eyes in very sharp focus. This picture might benefit from using a smaller aperture to increase the depth of field. I think the composition is very good here, I really like the position and shape of the eyes. I gave it a 6.
