Where am I?by WildpurpleComment by Artifacts: I understand that you created this image this way intentionally and I appreciate the effect you were after. The appearence of the jaggies, particularly i the upper right and left portions of the image doesn not ork well for me. That is because they show up so often unintentionally in images that I view that as a major fault in a digital images as a whole and rarely rate them high if they have them. To me this image is a 6 or possibly even a 7, but because of the jaggies I gave it a 5 for technical reasons. Sorry. |

Where am I?by WildpurpleComment by ozdick: Very Blair With Project :) Interesting shot, but the lines are jagged/staircased - especially the diagonals in the top right. Not sure if that was the desired effect, but it detracts from the overal ghostly look a bit for me. |

X marks the spot.by WildpurpleComment by Imagineer: It's a nice idea but the image is heavily rotated and quite blurred. It looks a bit too high contrast too with the whites overexposed. |

Round as the moonby WildpurpleComment by amsmyth: Greetings from the Critique Club: This image certainly meets the challenge as closely as one could - the shape is the focal point of the image. That being said, there are a couple of issues which stand out for me. The fringing around the edge and the slight blur. I believe the blur is due to the magnification and certainly there is clarity and great detail around the craters and at the edge of darkness. The fringing might have been addressed (since the editing rules have been relaxed) by desaturating. One further question for me is the tightness of the crop - I am sure you put a lot of thought into this crop but I wonder what it would have been like to give the moon a little more space in which to hang. Thanks for the image, it is a wonderful moon shot and as such deserves to be recognized. |

X marks the spot.by WildpurpleComment by TooCool: Nice shot, but it's crooked and not crooked enough to look intention. If it was intentional, then I don't get it. If it's NOT intentional it's an easy fix in photoshop!

X marks the spot.by WildpurpleComment by Dave Gordon: Cute pun. Were the trees like this naturally, or did you move something to create the effect (seems like it had to be natural unless you swam out there). Black and white is a good choice. |
