Come on now imagination, start to let those creative juices flow, this is a snapshot of your dog, ok it is at rest, but 0 impact as a photograph. Try to think of more interesting subjects, bend your mind a little, try to have IMPACT

There is nothing about this photo that makes it original. No interesting angle etc. Yes, you made it big and took out the colour, but it's not interesting.

Nice closeup of a penny. Would like to see a little bit more sharpness in the penny. Lighting is good. It helps to show some good shadows and reflections to lift the engraving out of the picture. Increasing sharpness may give texture of the copper.
