The shot is a nice blend of dark and light, but it's hard to determine that there is extreme emotion--subject could be asleep.

the whole photo is so cramped and dark it's hard to tell what is going on, the angle being straight on makes it too direct in my opinion. maybe angleing it from above would help

I'd like more focus but overall it's a pretty neat image. You have centered the subject but since it is kind of like it is flying out at you this works well. I like the yellow/black colors with a hint of it in the border. Again the only thing missing is that nice sharp detail on at least one of the items.

This image has a subject but could use some sharpness. That's the beauty of Macro Photography to me... being able to see textures that ordinarily unnoticed.
