Paul, I honestly don't know how French Lick got its name, but now I have to find out! LOL Don't worry - I won't tell. Unless you want me to, of course... |

Last Stopby luvmyaussieComment by ubique: Crikey! You're pretty good with tones, Amy. Looks to me like you can probably play that piano in the Moonlight Sonata, because your photography has a musician's touch ... you play melody & harmony together and with equal weight in this photograph.
There is NOT a place called French Lick, Indiana! Is there? I'm trying to imagine how it got its name. Don't tell me; I'm sure I'll prefer my version. |

Last Stopby luvmyaussieComment by Jutilda: Wow - what a metaphor. This has symbolism written all over it. I could write a story just from this image. It's fabulous. |

Moonlight Sonataby luvmyaussieComment by RKT: I think I actually gasped when I opened this image this morning. Ubique knows me well. And the title...one of my all time favorite Sonatas. I remember being so excited when my piano teacher placed the sheet music before me telling me I was to learn it for the next recital since I was a peevish enough girl to play the piece with the proper emotion. It all comes back so clearly now...what a grand lady she was, and how lucky I was to learn under her. |

Moonlight Sonataby luvmyaussieComment by ErinM: This has such a wonderful glow in the highlights, and deep, delicious shadow tones. I really like how the blur of the piano keys gives the sense of soft music being played. |
