So, I have excellent teachers and hopefully I'll be able to realize some improvement in my bug shots. I was wondering how you get the cross-hatch effect in the eyes. I'm thinking I may have to borrow Eric's 5D Mark II next. |

The Flyby digifotojoComment by roz: also to add what i said in the thread .. getting the insect at the best possible angle is also something you would want to aim at .. so that both eyes are in focus for example .. if thats the look you are after ..
and .. shooting from a bit further away you can then crop .. and that way you get more in focus than if you were shooting really really close .. |
