I like the coloring of the sky in this. Smooth. Good concept that works with your title. To critique, I don't think the image is really outstanding compared to a lot of others. May would've worked well if were cropped portrait on the right side with the sun in the lower/center of the frame. That way we'd get the sun "burning" through the leaves dominating the frame, with the nice, creamy sky above.

I'd use levels to make the trees more of a true black rather than the dark grey that they are. The top half of the scene also feels somewhat empty with nothing there to balance against the bottom half.
