An image that is a very good example of modernist thought and composition. A competant image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is very dramatic with interesting details setting itself apart due to it's unigue presentation. A very worthy entry into the challenge and while not to every voter's taste, it should place well in the challenge.

Contrast in the trees and subject matter is low, loosing some of the important clarity. The sky is nice, very crisp, so a trade off from the subject's contrast.

Showing this in a more isolated view (wider, maybe with more negative space) might help tell the story. Like the concept.

Nice. I wish the door would have been little more the the right in the frame to use the rule of thirds. The door also feels like it isn't in focus. The photo also has kind of a painting like quality, which is very nice.

Creepy door with a strange texture to it - too smooth, I'd have liked it better when it were rough.
