Speed at night in Chicagoby mjcarpenterComment by glad2badad: A slightly longer exposure time (not too much) would help this with the speed impact (light trails). To really make this work the background lights of the buildings and the overhead road sign should be crisp, not blurry. JMO of course. :) Good luck in the challenge. |

Backlit Gullby mjcarpenterComment by LalliSig: Sorry but this is what I would call "flatlit" Gull, the lighting is as flat as I have ever seen it and also the shot is underexposed. When shooting in totally overcast lighting, you really need to post process to bring out any kind of contrast. |
