and i dont want to be ignorant, but who has the power to give such ribbons and can someone just explain the posthumous ribbon in general. thank you :)

ok, I've agonized over this long enough. There are two photos in this challenge that can hardly be called landscapes but are two of the best photos I've seen on dpc. But with the justification that they fit the notion of "urban landscape" at least on a metaphorical level, I will give them both a yellow ribbon. Guess what? Yours is one of them.
