I am no expert, but it has been suggested to me that sunsets are a dime a dozen - for interest you need some element to ground the photo ie: birds flying into the photo, a boat - some element to make the setting less abstract - JMHO

Excellent idea...you don't need the grass interfering with your cornucopia. A better set up would help this concept. You are on the right track!

A few too many colours going on in this shot, and the framing is lacking... more green space around the main subject would improve it. The subject itself I like though.
