To be one with natureby arriComment by ellamay: Typically, ( i think) when subject of photo looks to a direction the subject is placed far to the opposite side of direcdtion looking. However, I think you did very well by placing yourself in the middle while looking to the right, seems quite refreshing to me. I think you have added an extra degree of interest to your shot. good job. |

To be one with natureby arriComment by zeuszen: What appeals to me about this portrait is the cool lighting, the natural hues and... the title. Particularly because of the title choice, I 'feel' that I might extract a sense of intent.
I would have loved to see the subject 'subordinated' to its environment, i.e. by increasing the focal distance (small figure - expansive greens) to emphasize an order of things. The shot, as is, also feels to me a little 'timid' with such 'partial' nudity. I would have preferred a bolder approach, which, considering the (given) integrity of the facial expression, would have made a powerful 'proliferation' of the title , and one in good taste as well. |

To be one with natureby arriComment by carolee: Interesting, in a kind of "what's going on here?" way. I like the composition, formal and centered, but the lighting doesn't quite work for me -- the day looks too overcast. Would like it better if the weather had worked in your favor. :) |
