The beens dont seem to be in focus, and over exposed there are many hot spots on individual beans.

Looks like a pensive fellow. A couple of suggestions: clean the dog's eyes before taking the picture or clone out the goobers in post-processing, and maybe don't push the contrast so far (don't know if that was in the exposure or processing), and make sure the eyes are in sharp focus for a portrait (most viewers will expect that). Not a big fan of the noise; it just doesn't appeal to me.
