I'm wondering why you would post this in a challenge on DPC... it's a family snapshot with no artistic redeeming qualities. There's nothing about this to show it was a competently taken photograph, and I don't know why you would expect a stranger to be interested in it.

I wonder how this might look if the flowers were off to the side? Or even all the way in an upper corner of the photo. I love the grain here - it adds a lovely, brooding mood, which is contrasted strangely by the bright colors. And for some reason, I like how you cut of the top of the flower. :D Perhaps because it's so unusual, and gives the rather over-photographed subject a totally new perspective. good job. :)
