Looks like my cat ... the angle and tail / crop are great. I think it might not score as high because it looks like a in-camera flash which lends to snap-shot quality.

Well, on a good note, this definitely fits the challenge criterea. However, on a more technical note, the shadows are a bit dark and without detail and the angle is very plain and normal. Try getting lower next time, more at the cat's level.

Could have been a better shot if it had a more suitable background also use of the flash has caused harsh lighting both on the subject and the white wall in the background. Try shooting during the day to make most use of natural light and stand the subject away from the background to make it easier to blur the background out.
