Well, I created another version of this image initially, but changed that later. The reason was that I thought it might violate the rules of standard editing.



The difference between two images is that I added glowing effect by blending original image with high-pass layer. Is this still standard editing? I whould appreciate if someone can comment on this.

An appealing image that meets the challenge well.

Welcome to DPC with your virgin entry and what a lovely entry it is. These lovely glass elements have been well exposed with good use of lighting against the unevenly lit background that adds another interest overall. The lighting from both sides has picked up detail on both sides of the shapes in a clearly defined way that adds interest. It is a lovely image that fulfils the challenge brief very well.
