it's in the good direction, but not quite there. Lighting should be improved (softer / broader). The glasses look stained. But the reed tones and the muted background, as well as composition and reflections are good.

Cool picture! I really like the perspective and how you get a bit of a wide angle feel with the marbles in the foreground. I think having a smoother background would have been good and maybe playing with the levels to get the black a little blacker but overall really nice!

This is a great shot with a great expression, but I feel it could be benefited by some of that dappled light actually hitting the man's face and illuminating it, and also if the image itself was sharper. Portraits generally need to be tack sharp in order to be effective - this difficult to achieve in candid street photography because you don't have control over many aspects of the situation and you're probably shooting with a long lens. Have to make sure that your shutter speed is as high as possible b/c camera shake grows exponentially with the longer lens you use.
