This is maybe just a tad too dark. Normally I love dark, low-key photos, but here it didn't work so well, since I couldn't figure out what the subject was at first. Your use of the lighting is very good though. The exposure just needs to be a bit brighter. Neat photo!

Not too sinful looking to me:) Perhaps you could get the dog growling to protect his food.
Background could be improved through using a smaller DOF to blur it out. Or just locate a better spot to photo. Animals take great shots out in the grass, and the natural light would bring out his eyes.

Ha! That's funny. My dog does the same thing. I like the perspective you used for this shot. My complaint would be too much stuff in the background, but it's hard to have a white sheet perfectly placed at all times.
