That partially submerged rowboat is a great illustration of time and water. Not really looking ocean-like (I think I've gotten too used to crashing wave scenes) but some marvelous tones and colors.

The image is well done. The colors are rich; focus is great; HDR? The composition is balanced, nice symmetry. Well presented image, 7. With that said, I just don't find a "compelling story" behind the photo. Maybe if this was taken say five years ago, I would have said wow. But the subject of a soldier on Saddam's throne seems over done. It seems every soldier/contractor who's been deployed has the obligatory pic on the throne and there are hundreds of pics of someone on the throne (albeit not well done as this image). I guess the casual pose doesn't give me a sense of a "compelling story." Just this viewer's opinion...
