What was that?by fantomfotoComment by JuliBoc: I like the intensity of this shot. The cat is so focused. Nice strong diagonal pose. I think I would crop just a bit off the top. |

Hi There!!!!!by fantomfotoComment by Jedusi: Nice title - fits the expression perfectly.
This is obviously the presenter of 'Reptiles have got Talent' a twice weekly show that is seen around the local Zoo's and is hoping to break through onto Discovery.
Here we see Mickey the Monitor Lizard opening the show and introducing tonights acts while wearing his sequined green suit . . . a style that never goes out of fashion in the Lizard world.

What was that?by fantomfotoComment by MelonMusketeer: What a cool looking creature. The shade gives an overall greenish tint, but that is what it actually looked like with sun shining thru the leaves. I guess that the cat was hearing your camera and lens working, and was curious. |

I see you!by fantomfotoComment by MelonMusketeer: That is a nice looking bird. I wonder if the dark feathers are a result of it being in captivity and it's diet there at the zoo?
The VR did a nice job of keeping this sharp with the 300mm at 1/90 sec. The eye is the attention point for me in this image. |

Hi There!!!!!by fantomfotoComment by MelonMusketeer: Even though it isn't a gecko, somehow this makes me think about auto insurance.
I guess the only thing left to make this better would be to have the critter speak when you open the image from the thumb.
The lighten up around and on the subject in the center, and the overall green feel of the image is very "right" for the scene. You captured an awesome pose, and very well too. |
