Missing Colorby FallenAngel360Comment by Rino63: Greeting from critique club.
Hi, I see that you have a very low score for this image. most of the comments that you have are true. the composition isn't really interesting, the main flower isn't sharp and the focus is a bit far from it. the image don't seems a good image for sepia challenge, probably you could improve it with shadows and highlight, I read that you have used the camera settings for the sepia tuning probably a conversion with photoshop or other image editor should be more helpful.
for any question about this comment please contact me.

I am a little surprised and disappointed in this comment Sandy. I frankly like the idea behind this image and while I agree the editing could be improved upon, Bree will learn alot more by you stating how that editing could be improved. If i was new around here like Bree i don't think i would be too enticed to stay. |

An Eye of A Demonby FallenAngel360Comment by Venom: This feels like a really tight crop of a larger image. Maybe to help retain a little more detail would be to lower your ISO setting or try to get closer to the subject. Interesting selective desaturation too. -BB |

Missing Colorby FallenAngel360Comment by macrothing: Good potential with this scene, looks like dogwood(?) - perhaps trying to steady the camera more (or less wind?) and also trying to separate the flowers from the background, maybe by zoom if you have no macro function - this seems out of focus as well, so trying to nail that will likely help produce a better quality image. A more refined crop and attention paid to composition will also help. |
