I didn't vote on this challenge, but I clicked through all the images. I found this photo to be exceptionally brilliant and assumed it would get slammed for it.

The criticism regarding the harsh lighting is ridiculous, in my opinion. The lighting, the process, the setup are all a distinctive style and work very well together. It's a gutsy (no pun - ha) photo and very well executed. Do not be deterred by the stupid score.

I think you really border on offensive when you post a picture of a stabbed pregnant woman. It doesn't offend me, but I do think its pretty gross. I also think you might be getting killed in your score. I think others in this challenge achieved a more real grim feeling with a less is more attitude.

Cute photo of an important moment for your family. But I'd prefer it either in full colour or black and white. The selective desaturation doesn't work for me on this one.
