the flow of the water and the details of the rocks are a great idea for this challnege, but the shot appears to be siginficantly underexposed. a longer exposure time woudl have brightned the details and actually would have smoothed the water even more

Agree with the other commenters for the most part. It is a very attractive collection of textures and colours, but there is no compositional focus. As well, perhaps the 1/25 shutter caused a little too much blur, unless you used a tripod. Hope you have a chance to play more with this great scene and vary your settings and POV.

While I like the color and composition of this image, I feel as though the connection to the theme was an afterthought. Technically it does meet the challenge, but the two poles are not the subject (in my view of course) of this image.
