The composition is good. The focus is in the wrong place, generally the eyes should be the focal point. Also, it looks like direct, harsh lighting was used. Try experimenting with different types of light, it makes a difference. :-)

A little more DOF would have made this jump. Still nice, but sparkling eyes and sharp whiskers? POW!

I'm a sucker for cats, this one is good, focus would be better on the eyes than the nose, especially when the nose is all white like that

the white are pretty overpowering, and out of focus. but i like the composition, flash usually tends to wash out thigns this close of a focal length

"Flat" flowers rarely photograph as well as ones with petals... This is purple, but I think they background's being so busy is distracting.
