Lovely how the street fades to blankness. the bus is only just entering the frame... we can't see its wheels so it appears to float.

The soul is just water on asphalt, bleak but composed and presented in such a lovely way. I have a feeling I like this photo more than I would like the book. I'm sure it's better than the musical, at least! 9

I'm bumping this to 10 and putting it in my art gallery. To continue the exposition, I hang things in my gallery if I feel they are independent works of art. For example, I could publish this in a literary magazine and it would fit right in.

A photo that I not only like (which would earn you an eight and a babbling technical explanation) but that further strikes me on some primal level. So I can't quite explain why I'm giving it a ten. But that's kind of the point.

I like this shot very much, I love the quote but it does not send me to Les Miserables. Although the puddle in the middle of the road reminds me of Hugo's magnificent drawing starting from a spot of coffee.
