I only wish the driver wasn't indicating going forward, rather if I was given the impression of driving away it would reinforce the title even better (but a minor point by me). I hope this is in the top ten if not top three.9.

The connection to Les Mis is tenuous for me, but I'm taking things perhaps more literally than ought to be doing, and I'll acknowledge that at a metaphorical level you're it's working hard. 8 from me

So we see residue and I think detritus of past lives such as Jean Valjean's on the run. Still a stretch, but I enjoy edgy shots and this has a spare visual quality that prompts our minds to take another look and thought. 6, for the edge.

Not really sure how this relates to Les Miserables other than pavement. If I was judging just on the photo, I would give it a 6 or 7, but due to the challenge, I give it a 4
