This is a pic that I like, but I don't think that it really meets the challenge's criteria. I actually really like the colors of the windmill and the treeline - the dark colors. Unless you made the fence your subject - and it doesn't feel like the subject here at all to me - with snow as your background, this doesn't fit.

It looks like a nice place, but there's not enough here to keep my interest. Try bring the same shot into photoshop and cropping it so that you're using the upper right hand corner only (from below the reflection to the middle of the picture. You still get the feel of the snow and the colors, but I think it makes it much more interesting.

Well composed. The elements of this image work together nicely. But the colors are rather flat, and the DOF is rather shallow for such a landscape shot.
