An interesting image - I like the busy-ness of it. The different valves and what not make for a nice b&w. Focus is good, I like the use of light. I don't really see a connection with the challenge though, beyond the title. I don't know motors so taking the image alone (without the title) nothing says solitude, loneliness or abandoned to me. Still a good photo. 6

Good portrait. A bit dark (in monitor) and motion blurred. Maybe some Levels adjust had helped.
