Behind the Canvasby ekmaiComment: Thanks for your comments everyone. The white border is actually a concrete wall bathed in bright sunlight. The exposure was for the water under the pier, which resulted in blowing out much of the wall. The photo really appeals to me for some reason. Usually this is not my kinda thing, but playing with contrasts and exposures opened my eyes to things i never saw before. Amazing how few people voted on this challenge given the number of entries. Should the rule be you need to vote on 100% of images for your entry to count in challenges like this? |

"Painted Ladies"by cq107Comment: This is really nice. I love how your layers draw the eye across the grass, to the houses, over the roofs and into the city. Looks a bit too yellow on my monitor, perhaps a cooler white balance would reduce the yellow and blue the sky. Good luck |
