devotionby OllyDComment: The highlights are a little underexposed although it's a good effort to try to set a mood.
Devotion is an interesting and very relevant topic for the challenge, but I think the photo needs more if it is to encapsulate the essence of devotion and so it has limited appeal. |

Unfortunately, the photo isn't particularly interesting.
Perhaps shot in portrait with the face might have made the shot more appealing. |

The overexposed flame and end of the candle are unsightly but it's hard to get any other result.
A squarer crop might be better as the small shards don't add anything. |
