Cathedral Blastby RianBotesComment: Love the single tree in the sunlight and the contrast of the mountain face in shadow. Magical! |

Ferro Arc Artby AmmieComment: Congrats on the great finish Amanda! I like the central composition with the sparks leading the eye away... |

Monumental pillar of contentionby TrompieComment: I was just about to comment on the man in the picture above the statue and how it ruined the shot... then I realised the symbolism of it. A man of Colour at the Voortrekker Monument! Nicely spotted!
Strong comp with a central statue. Would like to have seen a bit more of the sky and maybe increased the blue saturation. Otherwise very sharp and clear! |

Ferrari Maranello Convertibleby MiepComment: It almost looks like it was shot under black UV light...
Good job of getting the Prancing Horse in focus and nicely in the right hand thirds. The rake of the windscreen also helps to lead the eye towards the headrest. I might have perhaps cropped a bit off the top because of the different colours and it distracts slightly... otherwise a very good shot |

Interior of Dreamsby bspurgeonComment: Well captured and seen! Makes it look like the leaves of the tree.
Would have like a touch more detail in the branches though. The comp is good and the eye follows the branches up from lower right to upper left and into the cloud |

The alien in the orchidby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: Even though it is a negative I can see this is sharp! Centre comp works well here and perhaps could have cropped off a touch on either side as it isnt really adding too much to the shot. |

Sundanceby RianBotesComment: Brilliant use of thirds. Not just in the positioning of the birds but in the way the water's edge is used to used to draw the eye back down to the Heron (I think).
There is a wonderful flow in the shot as the eye constantly moves around the picture between the African Fish Eagle, it's reflection, the Heron and the water's edge.
The Heron looks perfectly in focus and the eagle looks a touch soft, but that could be because of the sun's light coming in from the right and shining on it's softer feathers on the back of it's legs.
I would perhaps have cloned out the little imperfections on the shore line to keep it as smooth and simple as it could be - after all the whole shot shouts (or whispers) calmness and quietness.
Lastly (but not your fault as all!) it would have been amazing to get the full ripples in the lower right and not just a portion of it. |

Sky Dancersby andresedComment: Would love to have seen a bit more of the dancers. Sky is wonderfully processed |
