Neat car and perspective! But depth of field seems pretty deep, not shallow at all. Try zooming in more and using the widest possible aperture on your camera. That will throw more of the background out of focus.

A very appealing image! I'm not struck so much by shallow DOF but am guessing the light bands must be grass or something in the foreground?

Good job with the shallow DOF. I might've cropped it some to isolate your main subject more and eliminate the purply blossom at the bottom.
