Nothing wrong with the picture. Personally, though, I was seriously distracted by the shape's non-snowflake nature. (snowflakes are 6-sided). Did that thought distract anyone else???

The vertical pattern in the sky is probably a "beat" or "moire" effect caused by interaction between (1)the pattern of the stocking stretched over the lens and (2)the digital image-taking. (think of the pattern when two window-screens are stacked together.) In computer graphics this effect is called "aliasing". Great shot!
