Comment:
I would have perhaps tone down the detail a bit and soften parts up, especially in the top third. Feels a bit noisy.

I can feel the emotion in this photo.
Perhaps a little blurry and too saturated for me.

I really like all the angles here that draw you to her face.
Two things trouble me though. 1) These little hot spots, perhaps flowers, draw my eyes away and 2) She doesn't seem happy. It fits with the title, but she just looks mildly annoyed to me.
She reminds me of Vera Farmiga.

Great portrait!
I am curious how you made the decision on which portrait to choose.
I am flipping between the two. Jinjoo's ears and the angle of his body in your alternate picture are quite interesting. Those ears! I often find myself flipping between two highly similar photos, struggling to select the right one.

Also, flip back and forth very quickly and these would make a great animated GIF.

One more also... You must be quite the extrovert. I cannot imagine meeting someone at a car wash with the end result being this photo.
Or any photo, really...
Kudos

Thanks so much for the positive comments.
I must admit that I had an advantage, having no style of my own and basically just trying to improve through visual plagiarism.
My second best score and best finish so far. I think I am on to something.

For the next challenge, I guess I should have copied Gyaban.

Does Bear have gorgeous young ladies in his photos? Not complaining, mind you...
Bear seems to PP from deep, contract images, but I think maybe this pushes the local contract and saturation a bit farther than he does.
I love the sky anyway. Very painterly.

The cat is clearly impatient, it is not his or her turn. Perhaps the young lady is beat and doesn't know it.
I think the lighting here does a nice job of evoking style. Nicely done.
