You're probably getting nailed because there's only one person in the photo. I'd like to think he's taking a photo of someone just out of the image. His frailty is why I decided to really up-vote this image. |

I don't normally score your (Lydia) frogs in my top three categories, they're usually above average, but this one made me smile. The ridiculous juxtapose of the duck next to the frog put it over the edge. |

There are a lot of photos with people and their pets. The general lack of spontaneity really sucks the life out of them. This really looks like you were running down the road and some dude just happened to have a camera pointing in your direction. |

If the bike was broken down and dilapidated I probably wouldn't have ranked this as high. The title suggests there should be someone roaming around and I'm left looking around. In the end I see no one, but that's the mystery of the image. Good job. |

The answer is no, she doesn't want that ugly chair, but as a female, she'll give it a once over just to make sure. |

I wasn't around at this time, but that border is out of control. I probably would have given this a 3-4 for that border alone. The skis are cool, but to be honest, I don't even know they're there. |

Bryanby Yo_SpiffComment: In a free study this would get a 4-5 out of me. Something different but not enough to warrant a second look. The front tire being entirely out of focus really bothers me. If the dude was doing something I could ignore that tire, but the fact he really isn't doing anything I scan around the image.
You said there's a story. So this guy tried to lift your bike?

Really like this one. The post processing is a little heavy, something I normally don't like, but it really works for this image. Whatever was done the left leg of the statue facing the viewer looks cartoonish but I really like it here. Especially when it's contrasted against the grainy terrain. |
