Tropicalia - (240259)by CoryComment: It's been bothering me. I couldn't figure out where I saw this already but finally found it online over at PWOContests. |

To bad this couldn't be an infinitetych. It'd still be easy to shot for.
I simply like the subject matter of yours. I think the middle panel should have the subject also looking at their device like you have the two ends. |

A Pearable by vawendyComment: #2, tied with another.
Nothing really to say. Simple and effective. Can't rate this with my #1 only because it's boring, in a good way. This is one of those photos you'd hand in your kitchen or dining room, but doesn't ask for a conversation to be spoken about it. For that reason I knocked it down to second place in my books. |

That's my boyby timfythetooComment: #2, tied with another.
Not a fan of the heavy use of the blur brush, or whatever you actually used, but a solid image nevertheless. I think the strong second image is what really makes this composition work. |

I don't know if it's the combination of the photos or the cropping, but the top insects aren't as sharp as I'd like them. The one on the left looks a little blown out on the tail and slightly out of focus.
That being said, I still find this to be the best photo in the challenge. The story is there and it's compelling. Will the frog get the meal or not? |

Chocolate Tuxedo Cakeby vawendyComment: #4
This has to be vawendy.
Putting this higher than the rest of the dessert entries simply because someone decided centering the dessert wasn't necessary. |

The Sweet Taste of Victoryby EOSailComment: #3
Not my favorite shot in terms of actual composition or execution, but I gave huge props for the idea alone. I would have liked to see a little more of the field and the players, but I'm sure you were restricted with still trying to make it look plausible for a field. Maybe a wider angle, a section for the cheering crowd, television crews, I don't know. Anyways, changing things would still have relegated you to third because I much prefer the two entries I have ranked ahead of yours. |

Simply Luscious (some assembly required)by Bear_MusicComment: #2
Love the fact it's not an actual dessert, at least not in the traditional North American sense. Not really a fan of the title, but I never take points away because of that (although it may add to the score). I like the dark, somewhat grungy processing done to the cantaloupe as opposed to making it bright and cheery. This is something if there were a series of them, I could see some people hanging them in their kitchens. |

Naughty Delight. by power47Comment: #1
Assuming this is SamanthaT.
Getting my sole top vote. When I first saw desserts, I tried to convince my wife to do something similar but it wasn't going to happen. Therefore I was delighted when I saw this. I might have posed slightly more provocatively, but that's only because I like pushing the boundaries on things like this. Even losing the undies while keeping this pose would have been a little sexier. |
