May 28 - Snailby hajekaComment: Please say you were smoking snails on the BBQ. That would have been a nice continuation of the story currently presented over the last couple of days. Message edited by author 2012-05-28 13:42:12. |

Well, if you cut out the camera and hold two beers, that's a goal.
But then who watches over the BBQ? Dilemma.

And then you do this the next day, nice.

Watchingby markwileyComment: Not really a cat fan, but their eyes are definitely more photogenic than dogs. The yellow in them draws my eyes there. |

Day 25by MinsoPhotoComment: Originally posted by james_so: Bored? |
Without seeing your comment, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw this photo. I was trying to see something like sorrow, or anything, but bored is exactly what it looks like. Don't worry, just a couple more days.
Come up with another side challenge. I need something to do.

Point of View by gyabanComment: Originally posted by gyaban: I'm not sure to understand your reasoning. You're of course free to think what you want, but with all respect due, many photos (even achieved with no or minimal editing) are nothing that could be seen with one's eyes directly (lens baby, B&W, wide angle, fisheye, long exposure, etc.). Consequently, I don't believe that if a scene can't be seen as such with one's eyes, then it automatically isn't photography. I also don't believe photography can only depict hard cold reality, many other uses are possible. IMHO, of course. |
You know I don't like what you do, but that's what makes the arts interesting. If everyone thought the same thing, it'd be boring as hell. I'll agree there are other techniques which lead to unnatural photos relative to what the eye can truly see, but for me it's the level at which it's done. This line will be different for everyone, and anyone will be hard pressed to sway me from it. But therein lies the beauty of this voting system, I'm only one vote in the average. |
