Sunrise Terrigal NSWby RaymondoComment: I think this photo (and location) has some great potential. It is missing an element that really grabs you and holds your attention, but you are almost there. I think if your body (camera) had been angled a little bit more to towards the sun and some more of the rays were included it would have made this have more impact. Do you have a polarizer? That would have really cut some of the glare and I think pumped up the natural colour in the water and the parts of the rocks that are not in the shadow. A tricky shot for sure. |

Snoooowwwww!!!!by WezComment: Fantastic. The first thing that grabs me is his eyes. Despite being dark, in dark fur, you have captured them perfectly and your focus is excellent. I absolutely think the eyes make this very tricky shot. I honestly wouldn't change a thing. This is brilliant. |

Brodyby StackComment: This is done quite well, but there are 2 things that instantly jump out at me. I find the dogs eye to be a little distracting because there is no pupil. Eyes are so important in any picture and photographing them sideways can make finding the right angle difficult as you want them to retain impact. The other is the lighting but I can appreciate how tricky this would have been to meter. |

Ewesual suspectsby P-A-U-LComment: This is a beautifully composed shot. I love how they are all focused directly at the camera, it gives this shot awesome impact. The detail in their coats in\s brilliant. The sky/cloud hues seem to be a little off, but that's the only aspect of this photo that I would fix. |

Overgrowby dali_lama_2kComment: I'm not quite sure in this picture where the focus or my attention is supposed to be. One one hand you have the man made items in the background taking up significant space but out of focus, in focus is the much smaller natural stem in the foreground being somewhat overwhelmed by the background. A potentially interesting juxtaposition, but it is not quite hitting the mark. I think in order for this to work you need to have a more definitive vision of what you are trying to communicate. |

French Finchingby DennisheckmanComment: Fantastic shot! This is really excellent work. The angle of their heads and beaks is perfect. I'd be interested to see this with a slightly different crop, almost half of the wood on the bottom gone and more dead space at the top. I'm curious how that might change the image. Truly though, it's beautiful and you deserve a good score for it. |

Selfby NiallOTuamaComment: Excellent lighting. The combination of your direct stare and hidden other half, give this photograph a really intense feeling. I think I almost would have moved your face a little farther to the right and left some more dead space to the right as it is quite effective. |

The Plans They Madeby rooumComment: This is a photo where I am just somewhat uninspired by what I am looking at. For a free study where all the topics in the world are available to you, I honestly find this picture to be somewhat lacking in creativity. It is well exposed, in focus, but doesn't grab me in any way. |

Maytag Breakby bohemkaComment: I have actually come back to this photo 3 times now because I wanted to leave some sort of constructive comment. I have found that I can't, because I honestly would not change a thing. This is an amazing photograph exactly as it is. |

Fields of Golden Dreamsby JamesDowningComment: This is a wonderfully composed photo. The light golden colour of the hill in contrast to the moody sky and foreground, combined with the upwards angle of the hill completely draws your eye in. The only odd thing seems to be the clouds, for whatever reason they look a little off to me. Did you process them a lot? |
