The over sharpening was intentional. I used PK sharpening to bring out the weathered look.

Nice shot. I would score it a 7 in the challenge. As for the focus I am looking with my notebook at the moment so I really can't comment but it looks OK to me. I find it extremely hard to choose images for a challenge. Remember if others recommend a photo for the challenge listen because it's people like them that will be voting on them.
